2. There have been reports on the internet of patients getting their surgery done by an assistant surgeon or junior surgeon once they are asleep. The patient thought they would get surgery done by one person but when they woke up they found out it was done by another person who was using them to gain more experience.

3. There have been cases where a person goes to Mexico for gastric band surgery and all they had put in was the port under the skin. They go home thinking they had gastric band surgery but they did not and there is no legal recourse for them.

After all, with the many different diets, pills, surgeries, as well as advice, books and so forth (all of course promising lots of results quickly), you might think that it would be impossible to find what will help. However, you might not have considered lap band surgery.

At first, you might look at it and wonder if it is really safe and gets results. You may even wonder what lap band surgery is. Essentially, the procedure involves the insertion of a band laproscopically into the uppermost part of your stomach. This band can then be adjusted as the treatment goes along by your doctor.

That said, if this is not an option, then perhaps figuring out a way to pay for the cost upfront would be your best bet.
